Job Responsibilities
As a Personal Support Worker, you will:
- Assist palliative patients with personal care and daily living activities
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and comfort
- Support patients and families while respecting dignity and end-of-life care goals
- Perform tasks such as bathing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, transfers, and light meal preparation
- Complete light housekeeping duties including laundry, dishwashing, and garbage disposal
- Observe and report changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition
- Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse
- Travel within the assigned region between patient homes or care facilities
Qualifications and Requirements
