We are currently seeking a Rigging Inspection Technician / Warehouse Support to join our team in Wabush, NL.
Position Overview
This dual-role position is ideal for a reliable, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys hands-on work and a dynamic environment. The role combines on-site inspection of lifting, rigging, and fall protection equipment with warehouse support duties, including shipping, receiving, and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect lifting, rigging, and fall protection equipment at customer industrial sites to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support warehouse operations: receiving, shipping, order preparation, and general maintenance
- Deliver compressed gas and customer orders safely and efficiently
- Perform snow clearing of exits and sidewalks during winter months
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities
- Be available for extended hours, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Industrial trade or service experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools and equipment
- High attention to detail with basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, data entry)
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, motivated, and eager to take on new challenges
