Dropshipping: How to Earn Over $1,000 Per Month in 2025

Today, I’ll share a simple method I personally used to earn over $1,000 per month in dropshipping without a large investment, relying mainly on persuasion and marketing skills.


What is Dropshipping?

Dropshipping is an e-commerce business model where you list products on your online store without holding inventory. When a customer buys a product, you order it from a supplier and ship it directly to the customer. Your profit is the difference between your selling price and the supplier’s price.

This allows you to focus entirely on marketing and driving sales without worrying about inventory or shipping logistics.


Tools You’ll Need to Get Started

  1. Online Store: Use Shopify or WooCommerce. Shopify is ideal if you don’t have a strong hosting service. You can try Shopify’s 14-day free trial to test this method.
  2. Paid Domain: Look for deals around $0.99 for the first year.
  3. Pinterest Business Account: Free to create at Pinterest Business. Pinterest will be your primary traffic source.

Why Use Pinterest?

Unlike platforms like Facebook, Pinterest content gets indexed by Google, especially Google Images, giving you free, organic traffic. Pinterest is also highly popular in the US and UK, with over 1.1 billion monthly active users, making it a huge market you can’t ignore.


How I Made Over $1,000 Per Month

  1. Choose a Niche and Product: Focus on products for women, as over 75% of Pinterest users are female.
    Example: Select a product on AliExpress priced under $3.00.
  2. Set Up Your Shopify Store: List the product with a “Free + Shipping” model, e.g., $7.50 shipping included. Profit Calculation:
    • Product price on AliExpress: $2.87 + $1.88 shipping = $4.75
    • Selling price: $7.50
    • Profit per sale: $7.50 – $4.75 = $2.75
  3. Pinterest Marketing:
    • Search for Pinterest group boards in your niche with 1,000+ followers.
    • Once added, post your Shopify products directly to the boards.
  4. Increase Conversions:
    • Use the Shopify Pinterest app to add a “Buy” button directly on images.
    • Add urgency with apps like Hurrify to create countdown timers, encouraging faster purchases.

Tips for Success

  • Post multiple product images to increase visibility and avoid being flagged as spam.
  • Target boards with active followers in your niche.
  • Continuously test new products and marketing approaches.

By following this method, even beginners can start making profits without upfront ad spend, relying solely on organic traffic and effective Pinterest marketing.
